Thank You and Best Wishes for the Spring Break

As we come to the end of the spring term, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our staff, parents, and carers for their support. The children and staff have worked incredibly hard, enjoying enriching educational visits and amazing experiences in school.

We truly appreciate the dedication of everyone who contributes to our school community. Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable break!

 

Attendance and Punctuality

Attendance and punctuality are essential life skills that set children up for future success. Every minute counts—missing school or arriving late can cause children to fall behind in their education, impact their social and emotional well-being, and create challenges later in life. We ask parents and carers to support the school by ensuring their child attends every day and arrives on time.

Good learning requires good attendance.

Every lesson is important for your child's education.

Every school day, children are taught phonics, reading, writing and mathematics. What is taught is builds upon the previous day's lessons, so missing

Children return to school on Monday 28th April

May Day Bank Holiday (School is closed): Monday 5th May

Staff Training Day (School is closed): Friday 23rd May

Reminder: School Uniform and PE Kit

As we look ahead to the new term, please ensure that your children come to school each week in the correct school uniform and bring the appropriate PE kit. We also kindly remind you that children should not wear any form of jewellery.

Summer Fayre Monday 9th June (afternoon)

Here is a special date for your diary! We will be hosting a summer fayre to raise money for our school fund. This fund will allow us to continue to provide our exciting enrichment days and experiences for our pupils.

We will share more information with you nearer the time about this exciting event, but there will be lots of activities for families, refreshments to buy and lots of prizes to be won! 

Y2 - The Great Fire of London Workshops

   

The Y2 children learnt about the Great Fire of London. They then burnt the houses to experience and understand why and how quickly the houses burned during that time. 

Y4 -Visit The Black Country Museum

    

Children enjoyed living history during their visit to the Black Country Museum. They learnt about the Industrial Revolution, the coal mines and the way of life at that time.
