December 2024

Dear parents and carers,

We have come to the end of another very busy and exciting term.

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you all for your support during my time away. Your commitment to the school has ensured that everything has run smoothly, and I am deeply grateful for all that you've done in ensuring your children are attending school every day and on time.

It’s truly wonderful to be back, and it’s heart-warming to see so many familiar, smiling faces. I’m excited to rejoin the team and to continue working together towards our shared goals. The enthusiasm and positivity in the school are infectious, and I’m looking forward to what we can accomplish in the coming months.

This term will end for children on Thursday 19th December 2024.

School will re-open for children in reception - year 6 on Tuesday 7th January 2025.

Nursery will be open as normal on Monday 6th January 2025.

Please see the website for term dates and upcoming events.

I would like to wish all of those celebrating a Merry Christmas and Happy New year to everyone.  I hope you all have a relaxing time over the festive season!

Seasonal Parties

Children will be having seasonal parties on Wednesday 18th December - children can wear their own clothes (no high heels please). They can also bring in party food (must be vegetarian, packaged and in-date - NO NUTS PLEASE).

Year 6 will have their party on THURSDAY 19th December.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for your kind donations for Children in Need. The school raised £275.95.

The school raised £353.40 for our vulnerable families.

Your generosity is much appreciated! Your donations mean that we are able to help vulnerable families both within our community and further afield.

How to start your child at school

Parking Around School

There have been a number of concerns raised regarding parking outside the school. Whilst we appreciate that it can be very difficult to park in the roads surrounding the school, if all parents could park safely and courteously, when dropping-off or collecting children and avoid causing congestion, this would lower the risk to our children and families.

 When arriving by vehicle at school, please leave sufficient time to park safely and legally.

 Do not park on the double yellow lines, school keep clear or zigzag markings.

 Do not park on the corners of the side roads.

 Do not park half on and half off the road (on the pavement). Parking on the pavement can obstruct and seriously inconvenience pedestrians, people in wheelchairs or with visual impairments and people with prams or pushchairs.

Thank you for your co-operation and consideration for making the start and end of the school day safer for all our children.
