Children in Year 6 will receive Literacy homework on a Friday and this will be expected back by the following Wednesday.

As you are aware, we are fortunate enough to be part of a project called MathsFlip which the children started in Year 5. MathsFlip involves ‘flipping’ the traditional model of completing homework after the lesson. It will instead involve pupils doing some activities before the lesson, for example watching a video and then answering some questions at home or completing a MyMaths task. The school have been given some devices and children will have access to the device weekly to complete their homework.

Throughout the term children will also have Topic related homework, this will involve them creating and making models.

Please encourage your child to complete all of their homework tasks and to return to school before the deadline.
